Route 2011 in Bell Township Closed This Week for Railroad Crossing Work

BELL TWP., Pa. – A closure is planned this week for Route 2011, Smyerstown Road, for railroad crossing work in Bell Township, Jefferson County.

The Buffalo & Pittsburgh Railroad plans to close Route 2011 beginning Wednesday, September 13, at 8:00 AM, between Route 2013 (Juneau Road) and Route 1054 (Buffalo Lodge Road), to facilitate repairs of the crossing.

The road is expected to reopen by the end of the day on Friday, September 15.

A posted detour will be in place using Route 36, Route 2001 (Winslow Road), Route 1033 (Bonner Road), and Route 1052 (Johnsonburg Road).
