Roy Oliver Rager, 76, of Harborcreek, passed away on Sunday, November 21, 2021.
He was born in Banks Township, PA on June 26, 1945, son of the late James and Elizabeth (White) Rager.
Roy was a 1962 graduate of Punxsutawney High School, and was a Vietnam War Era Veteran of the US Marine Corps.
He was a 30-year employee with General Electric Co. and was a long-time member of Harborcreek Baptist Church.
Roy was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and also enjoyed travel and camping with his family. Roy had a deep love of animals, especially cats and dogs.
Roy is lovingly survived by his wife, Carol Ann (Harrold) Rager; two daughters: Michele R. Rager, and Jenny L. Green (David); and three siblings: Thomas and Sam Rager, and Susan Huntsman. In addition to his parents, Roy was preceded in death by three brothers: James, Al, and George Rager.
Family and friends are warmly invited to call at the DUSCKAS-TAYLOR FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 5151 Buffalo Rd. (at Hannon Rd. in Harborcreek Twp.) on Wednesday from 11 AM until the time of the Funeral Service there at 1 PM.
Roy will be privately laid to rest at Wintergreen Gorge Cemetery.
