Ruby E. Vrobel, 90 of Punxsutawney, passed away Sunday, January 7, 2018, at the DuBois Nursing Home.
Ruby was born August 27, 1927, in Mahaffey to the late William and Verna (Wayland) Bracken.
She was married to Edward E. Vrobel who preceded her in death.
She is survived by three sons; Bill Vrobel and wife Debi of Orange Park, Fl, Edward Vrobel and Richie Vrobel both of Punxsutawney. One sister; Martha Ferringer of Marionville, seven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 10, 2018, at the McCabe Funeral Home in Punxsutawney.
A funeral service will be held to celebrate Ruby’s life at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, January 11, 2018, at the funeral home with Pastor David Nagle officiating.
Private interment will be in McClure Cemetery in Big Run.
