Russell Edward Shean, age 66, of Brookville PA, passed away on Tuesday, March 29, 2016, at the DuBois Nursing Home in DuBois PA.
He was born on July 24, 1949, to the late Edward and Harriet (Traylor) Shean in Piitsburgh PA. Russ honorably served his country as a member of the United States Army.
Most recently he worked as a Pittsburgh City Fireman; prior to that he was a mechanic by trade. Russ was a very outgoing and fun loving person but more than anything else, he loved his family and friends very much.
Russ is survived by 2 step-sons; Alan (Tracy) Ambrose of Dayton, OH; Mark Ambrose of Pittsburgh, PA; 1 sister, Karen Bramer of Pittsburgh, PA; 4 grandchildren, Allison, Nicholas, Joseph, and Madeline Ambrose; 1 niece, Kelly (Greg) Cale of Pittsburgh, PA; 1 nephew, James (Rhonda) Bramer of Pittsburgh, PA; and 3 great-nephews, Nathan, Cameron, and Ryan Bramer.
