Russell J. Kalp, 72, of Kalp Road, DuBois, PA, passed away on Thursday, April 19, 2018, at his home.
Born on August 23, 1945 in Ruffs Dale, PA, he was the son of the late Russell I. and Naomi R. (Cole) Kalp.
On June 19, 1982, he married Marian “Toots” (Dixon) Kalp. She survives.
Russell retired from Crown Resorts maintenance department after over 20 years of services. Previous to that he had worked for Latrobe Standard Steel for over 10 years.
He was a member of the Reynoldsville and Fishers of Men Bass Clubs. He enjoyed classic cars, fishing, and hunting.
Russell is survived by two children, Kelly Kalp of Anchorage, AK, and Rusty Kalp, of Ruffs Dale, PA; two sisters, Connie and Thelma; and a brother-in-law, Joe Dixon (Rita) of Sabula, PA.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 22, 2018, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Baronick Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, April 23, 2018, at 10:00 a.m. at the Baronick Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc. with Pastor Kenneth Sherwood officiating.
Burial will be in Morningside Cemetery.
Memorials may be placed with the charity of the donor’s choice.
