Ruth A. Guiher, 92 of Reynoldsville, Pennsylvania died on Monday, April 10, 2017, at Penn Highlands DuBois in DuBois, Pennsylvania.
Born Monday, January 12, 1925 in Rathmel, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Earl Snyder and the late Sarah M. (Shaffer) Snyder. She was the wife of Chester L. Guiher.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and she enjoyed baking.
In addition to her husband she is survived by daughters, Lori Guiher of Reynoldsville, PA and Jan Scott (Rick) of Reynoldsville, PA, grandson Jeremy Allshouse (Nichole) of New Bethlehem, great granddaughter Lainee Allshouse, brother, Earl Snyder (Pat) of Reynoldsville, PA, sisters, Viola Stormer (Robert) of Brookville, PA and Evelyn Calhoun (Dennis) of Johnstown, PA, sister-in-law Inez Snyder of DuBois and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents, brothers, Raymond Snyder and Kenneth Snyder, sister, Janet Haag.
A Funeral service will be at 10:30 AM on Friday April 14, 2017 at Bernard P. Snyder Funeral Home Inc. located at 206 E. Main Street Reynoldsville, Pennsylvania 15851 with the Rev. Benjamin Austin officiating. Interment will be in Prospect Cemetery, Reynoldsville, PA.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Thursday, April 13, 2017, at Bernard P. Snyder Funeral Home Inc., 206 E. Main Street, Reynoldsville, Pennsylvania.
