Sally Ann Schrecengost

SallySally Ann Schrecengost, 53, of 4 Maple Street Brookville, died Saturday May 2, 2015 to ACMH Hospital Kittanning, Pa.

Born July 3, 1961 in Redbank Township. Sally was a 1979 graduate of Brookville High School.

She was employed as the secretary at First United Methodist Church in Brookville, PA. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Brookville.

Her family was everything to her, especially her grandchildren.

She enjoyed scrap booking, reading her Bible, visiting with her nieces and nephews when they stopped in.

As well as Scouting, youth group, and church retreats.

She is survived by one son Andrew Mark Schrecengost and wife Kate of Brookville, PA and three grandchildren, Isabelle, Gage, and Elliott. She is also survived by six siblings, Darl Schrecengost and wife Martha, James Schrecengost and wife Diane, Dee Reed and husband Bil, Blance Phillips and husband Ken, Charles Schrecengost and wife Kathy, and Cathy Lockwood and husband Gary, one Brother-in-law Fran Siegel, 18 nieces and nephews and 20 great nieces and nephews.

Sally was preceded in death by her parents Darl and Sadie Schrecengost; her two brothers, John and Tom Schrecengost; and two sisters, Mazie Siegel and Mary Schrecengost.

Family will receive friends on Tuesday May 5, 2015, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. and on Wednesday May 6, 2015, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., at McKinney Funeral Home, Brookville Pa.

A funeral service will be held at the First United Methodist Church, 196 Jefferson St, Brookville, PA. Thursday May 7, 2015, at 11 a.m.

Service will be officiated by The Rev. Sharon L. Schwab.

Interment to take place at the Meade Chapel Cemetery in Knox Twp. Jefferson Co., PA. Memorial contributions may be made in her name to the First United Methodist Church, Jefferson St., Brookville PA.
