Sandra Adams Stewart went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, August 12, 2015.
She was born on December 4, 1947 in Punxsutawney, PA to the late Emaline Mae Miller and Simon Peter Adams.
She married Allan Kenneth Stewart on January 16, 1969. He preceded her in death in 2005.
She went to Punxsutawney Area High School and graduated as a medical secretary and transcriptionist.
She worked for the Punxsutawney Hospital, DuBois Regional Medical Center West, Dr. Gary K. Magee and was most recently the Human Resources Affiliate for Interim Health Care of DuBois from where she retired in October 2014.
Allan and Sandra had five children: Esther (Ray) Marsh of Reynoldsville, PA, Daniel Stewart of DuBois, PA, Naomi (Shawn) Cramer of Luthersburg, PA, Jeremiah Stewart of Falls Creek, PA and Ruth (Sandy) Stewart of Brookville, PA. Allan and Sandra had 10 grandchildren: Cassandra O. Robertson, Emily S. Cramer, Hannah E. Cramer, Abagaile P. Cramer, Rachel L. Marsh, Julia A. Marsh, Isaac H. Marsh, David A. Sharkey, Lauren E. Stewart, and Emaline Ryan Stewart. They also had a great granddaughter, Abby G. Sroka.
There will be no visitation. A memorial service will be held on Monday, August 17, 2015 at 11 A.M. from the First Baptist Church with Pastor David Nagele officiating. Burial will be in Mahaffey Cemetery.
