Sandra J. Bish, 70, of Tionesta PA, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, July 4, 2017 at her residence.
Born October 15, 1946 in Putneyville, PA, she was the daughter of late Delbert and Dolly Nolf Shoemaker.
Sandra was a homemaker and after being widowed had a companion / fiance Chester A. Slater with whom she made her home.
She enjoyed going to the casino and gambling. She also liked gardening and her pet cats, and dog “Copper”.
Sandra is survived by a daughter, Kim (Jon) Mendenhall of Corsica; four step daughters, Cheryl Gallo of Olean, NY, Barb DeLoe of Venus, PA, Peggy Osten of Tionesta, PA, and Sally Yarger of Tionesta, PA; three grandchildren, Markelle, Randy Lee, and Kyrsten; three sisters, Shirley Adams of New Bethlehem, Barbara Wiant also of New Bethlehem, and Ruth Reeseman of Putneyville; six grandchildren, nine step grandchildren, and eleven step great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Furlong Funeral Home, 50 Broad Street, Summerville, PA.
There will be no viewing or visitation per the family’s wishes.
