Say What?!: Missing Tortoise Found Six Months Later Across the Street

OXFORD, England – A tortoise that escaped from her owner’s garden in England turned up six months later at a school across the street, just over 1000 feet away.

When Leanna Morris’s pet tortoise, Tallulah, escaped after being placed in the back yard for some free roaming time, Morris spent weeks scouring the area for her beloved pet. Months later, after she’d given up hope, Tallulah was found just 1,056 feet from where she escaped.
