ALBERTVILLE, Alabama – An Alabama teenager attending her first prom said she chose her 80-year-old grandfather as her date because he never attended a dance of his own.
Joy Webb, a student at Albertville High School, said she wanted to share her first prom experience with James Drain — or “Poppa,” as she knows him.
