MAUI, Hawaii – Guinness World Records have confirmed that the Pokini family of Kula, Maui, have set a new world record for the heaviest avocado.

Mark, Juliane, and Loihi Pokini’s 5.6 pound avocado just edged out the previous record of 5.5 pounds.
