Say What?!: Politician Offers $1,000 to Find Subway-halting Cat

NEW YORK, Ny. – A former New York mayoral candidate is offering a $1,000 prize for anyone who can return a missing cat that once shut down a city subway station.

Former mayoral candidate John Catsimatidis is offering a charitable donation in exchange for help finding Arthur, one of the cats that famously shut down subway services in Brooklyn in 2013.

“$1,000 reward to the animal-related charity of your choice for the successful return of Arthur the cat to his family,” he wrote in a Facebook post Wednesday.
