PORTHCAWL, Wales – Tourists and residents in Wales made the best of a pair of benches facing opposite a scenic beach by repurposing one as the world’s first “selfie bench.”
Bridgend Tourism Association director Hugh Murray noted that other benches in the area face the water and encouraged tourists in the town of Porthcawl to use the bench’s unique orientation to capture photos of themselves in front of the sea.
