WASHINGTON, D.C. (EYT) – A congressman from Pennsylvania has said he took the Pope’s abandoned water glass following his address and sipped it with his wife and staffers.
U.S. Rep. Bob Brady, a Democrat from Philadelphia, said he watched the Pope sip from the glass and then took the cup after he ended his speech.
He reportedly did this to be able to say he had sipped from the same glass as the pope.
