JACKSONVILLE, Fl. – An emu chased locals and evaded police and animal control officers during its run through residential neighborhoods in Jacksonville, Florida.
Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission spokeswoman Karen Parker says the animal was captured when it was cornered in a local autobody shop. The bird’s owner was out of town, having left the emu in the care of a friend.
