Say What?!: FitBit Founder Buys Tom Brady Rookie Card for $1.3 Million

James Park, CEO and co-founder of FitBit, has purchased a Tom Brady rookie card for $1.32 million in a private sale, setting record for the highest price paid for a football card.

PWCC Marketplace brokered the sale for the 2000 Playoff Contenders Championship Ticket card sold earlier this month, but the purchase was announced Thursday. Park also confirmed the purchase Friday on Twitter.
