WOODSTOCK, Ill. – A man in Illinois managed to escape home invaders, but did not call police until he was urged to by a coworker.
The victim, a 40-year-old man from Woodstock, was held hostage after two armed men forced their way into his home and threw him down the stairs to his basement. According to a police press release, he left his home and went to work after he was able to unbind himself.
