SAN DIEGO, Ca. – It was a premature white Christmas at the San Diego Zoo for three polar bears who received a gift of 26 tons of snow from yuletide donors.
The zoo said polar bears Kalluk, Tatqiq and Chinook had the chance to play in the snow Friday morning when 26 tons of the white stuff were delivered after being paid for by donations to the “animal care wish list” on the zoo’s website.
