Say What?!: New Jersey Trooper Pulls Drowning Deer from Swimming Pool

swejHARMONY TOWNSHIP, N.J. – The New Jersey State Police said a trooper rescued a deer from drowning in a swimming pool by grabbing its antlers and pulling it to safety.

The state police said in a Facebook post Trooper Dwayne Phillips was dispatched at 12:39 p.m. Friday to a Harmony Township home where a witness had reported a deer struggling in a swimming pool.
