SJORDAL, Norway – A Norwegian man accepted the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge and upped the ante by dumping over 1,800 gallons of ice water over his head.
Lars Christian Rødal, 29, of Stjørdal, said a friend from Scotland challenged him to take the Ice Bucket Challenge — to raise money and awareness for research into amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, or ALS — and he decided to incorporate the cement truck he drives into the challenge.
