BRUSSELS, Belgian – A Belgian zoo has shared the first footage of a newborn giant panda cub being carried in the mouth of its mother, Hao Hao.
The Pairi Daiza wildlife park, located outside Brussels, said 7-year-old Hao Hao gave birth Thursday to a male cub weighing in at 6.03 ounces.
“Less than 2,000 pandas can be found in the wild, making every birth a true miracle,” the zoo said in a statement.
