HALF MOON BAY, California – Napa man John Hawkley broke the North American record for largest pumpkin with a 2,058-pound weigh in at the Half Moon Bay pumpkin weigh-off.
Hawkley and his wife Patty won more than $13,000, earning $6 per pound and $1,000 for having the largest pumpkin in California.
