POCATELLO, Idaho (EYT) –A semi-truck transporting thousands of bees through Idaho overturned and the resulting swarm resulted in multiple additional crashes.
The semi driver was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment, and it is unknown if injuries resulted from the other crashes.
Both sides of the roadway had to be closed as authorities advised nearby residents to stay indoors and keep their windows closed to avoid encounters with the bees.
