SYRACUSE, Indiana (EYT) – An Indiana mother saw a spider in her car and promptly jumped out of the moving vehicle, leaving her 9-year-old son behind to crash the car.
Police say the woman was backing her vehicle out of the driveway when she saw a spider on her shoulder and panicked, running out of the moving car and leaving her son inside.
The boy climbed into the drivers’ seat and tried to apply the brake but stepped on the accelerator instead, and the car hit a school bus that wasn’t carrying children at the time.
