Say What?!: $70,000 Worth of Frozen Bull Semen Stolen from Minnesota Farm

say-whatLEROY, Minnesota – Authorities in Minnesota said a stolen canister akin to a “milk jug” was filled with something far more unusual — $70,000 worth of bull semen.

The Mower County Sheriff’s Office said someone went into an unlocked barn near Leroy sometime between April 1 and April 7 and stole a container filled with frozen bovine seed. The farm owner told investigators he and his employee were both away from the farm from 11 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. on Easter Sunday.
