Say What?!: University of Michigan Frat Goes Full Animal House

ANN ARBOR, Michigan – University of Michigan fraternity Sigma Alpha Mu trashed a ski resort in central Michigan, creating $50,000 in damages and unbelievable pictures.

The fraternity left its rooms at Treetops resort with broken furniture, solo cups and trash strewn over the hallways and rooms. There were enough foreign fluids that a hazmat team was called in.

“We had a group of a fraternity that was visiting and had an excessive party and did damage on the resort. Food, beer, alcohol, the walls, carpet damage, ceiling broken down and furniture damage,” said Barry Owens, general manager of Treetops. “They had a series of rooms, a couple floors of rooms, obviously things got out of hand. We estimate the cleanup and damage is around $50,000.”
