HAYMARKET, Va. – Police in Virginia responded to a rural area to apprehend a group of emus that attempted to take flight — that is, in the idiomatic sense.
The Prince William County Police Department shared photos on Facebook of officers confronting the mob of emus on a rural road after the flightless birds escaped from a nearby farm.
