Scott L. Edwards, 52 of Union, MS., passed away Tuesday, November 3, 2015 in Morton, MS.
Scott was born November 1, 1963 in Morton, MS., a son of Myrna (Williamson) Shernock of Rochester Mills and the late Charles Edwards and stepfather, John Shernock.
He was a US Army veteran. Scott was employed as a Merchant Mariner in the Marine Transportation Industry for most of his life.
He loved riding his Harley and spending time with his grandchildren.
In addition to his mother Myrna, he is survived by one son; Josiah Edwards and Fiance’ Linda Kopfer of Adrian MO., one daughter; Taisha Powell and husband David of Creighton, MO., one brother; C. Steven Edwards and Fiance’ Julia Valenti of Marion Center, one stepbrother; John Shernock and wife Melanie of Pooler, GA., one sister; Tammy Wolfe and husband Ronald of Indiana, two stepsisters; Kim Aiken and husband Dennis of Mars, Sandra Ballard and husband Mark of Reynoldsville, four grandchildren; Hayden and Ryan Edwards and Trinady and Derek Powell.
Friends will be received from 6-8 pm Thursday, November 12 at the McCabe Funeral Home in Punxsutawney.
The funeral service is private for immediate family.
