Sharron L. Frederick Lingenfelter

Sharron L. Frederick Lingenfelter, 69, of Crate Lane in Sigel, Pa., went to be with her Lord on Saturday, September 13, 2014, at home.

Born March 29, 1945 in San Francisco, CA, Sharron was the daughter of John Edward Frederick and Anna Cyphert Frederick.

Sharron was married to Thomas E. Abraham of Youngsville, Pa., who survives, in 1967 and later to Jack L. Lingenfelter of Sigel, Pa., who also survives, on March 29, 1985 in State College, Pa.

She graduated from the Brookville Area High School in 1963 and the Hamot Medical Center in Erie, PA in 1966 as a certified CEN Trauma Nurse.

She worked for 42 years for the Warren General Hospital in Warren, PA, the Rouse Home in Youngsville, PA, the Brookville Hospital in Brookville, PA, the Centre Community Hospital in State College, PA, DuBois Regional Medical Center in DuBois, PA, and Retired from the UPMC Hospital in Seneca, PA.

Sharron was a member of the Brookville Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed her dogs Sammy and Myah, loved to play Bridge, but most importantly made it her life’s goal to help other people.

Surviving are her four children, Julia E. Abraham and her fiancee Charlie Lacki, of Lakewood NY, Thomas R. Abraham (Michelle), of Youngsville, Pa., Michelle Lingenfelter (Woody), of Clayton, NC, and Gretchen Lingenfelter Fitzpatrick of Oklahoma City, OK, one sister, Judy Frederick Dempsey (Allen), of Emerickville, Pa., and one brother, John Frederick, of Brookfield, OH. Also surviving are ten grandchildren and one great grandson.

Sharron was preceded in death by her parents.

The family will receive visitors on Thursday, September 18 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the McKinney Funeral Home in Brookville.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, September 19 at the Presbyterian Church on Main Street in Brookville. The Rev. Nathan Royster and the Rev. Darr Briggs, Pastor Emeritus, will be officiating.

Interment will take place at Mt. Tabor Cemetary in Eldred Township, Jefferson County.
