Sheila Antoinette (Urban) Zarbock, 71 of Mahaffey, passed away September 12, 2015 at her daughters home surrounded by her loving family.
Mrs. Zarbock was born in Chicago, Ill. November 18, 1943, a daughter of the late Algird Urban and Antoinette (Skinkus) Urban of Chicago who survives.
She was preceded in death by her husband Albert J. Zarbock, August 3, 2005.
After raising nine children, Shelia went back to school and earned her degree in Nursing. She was a Registered Nurse for many years and before retirement in 2010 she worked at the Rehab Department of Dubois Regional Medical Center. She loved music, baking and spending time outdoors.
Sheila is survived by nine children; Rick Zarbock of Lockport, Ill., Allan Zarbock of Morris Ill,. David Zarbock of Chicago, Karen M. Conway of Illinois, Wendy McCormack of Channahon, Ill., Cathy Bedford of New Albany, MS., Cora Smith of Mahaffey, Rhonda Northrop of Joliet, Ill., Lisa Cotton of Naperville, Ill., brother; Reid Urban and wife Sharon of Sturtevante, WI., numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and her niece, Nicole.
Friends will be received from 5 to 7 pm Friday, September 18, 2015, at the Waldron Funeral Home in Mahaffey where a funeral service will be held at 7 pm with Tom Spiker officiating.
Interment is private for most immediate family. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Breast Cancer Awareness Foundation as Sheila would love you to support this important cause.
