Shirley E. Wilcox

Shirley E. Wilcox, age 89, of Falls Creek, passed away Saturday May 9, 2015 at Penn Highlands DuBois.

She was born July 12, 1925, the daughter of the late George and Sadie Ealene (Miller) McCauslin.

Mrs. Wilcox was a graduate from Sandy Township High School, member of Christ Lutheran Church, and a homemaker.

Survivors include: daughter, Janice (Don) Wilcox Crouch; son, Dale (Wilma) Wilcox; two grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; six step -great-grandchildren; brother, Edward (Ruth) McCauslin; and sister, Joan (George) Carlini.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, George Wilcox; and infant sister.

Memorial services will be held at Mohney-Yargar Funeral Chapel, Inc. on Thursday, May 14, 2015 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Kevin Bockus officiating.

Friends and family are invited to a time of remembrance at the funeral home on Wednesday May 13, 2015 from 6 to 8pm, and on Thursday, May 14, 2015 from 10 a.m. until the hour of services.

Interment will be at Beechwoods Cemetery.
