Police say 30-year-old Stephanie L. Coughanour, of Sigel, was traveling west on I-80 when she began to pass an unknown vehicle in the right lane. A tire on the left side of the trailer of the other vehicle blew, and the tread became airborne striking the roof rack and the right side of Coughanour’s 2001 Ford Expedition.

According to police, Coughanour stopped to check the damage to her vehicle as the other involved vehicle continued west.

Coughanour was wearing her seat belt during the accident and was not injured.
