Sigel Woman Flown to Hospital After One-Vehicle Crash in Eldred Twp.

A moving ambulance on it''s way to a crash site.ELDRED TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) – According to Marienville-based State Police, a Sigel woman was seriously injured today in a one-vehicle rollover crash in Eldred Township, Jefferson County.

Police say the crash occurred around 12:50 p.m. on March 23 as Wuanita Jane Milliron, of Sigel, was traveling east along Fisher Road.

After passing the intersection of Catholic Church Road, Milliron’s 2007 Chrysler Town & County Minivan began to drift off the south berm of the roadway, according to police.

Her vehicle traveled approximately 322 feet along the berm before re-entering the roadway. The vehicle then began to slide. Milliron over-corrected and her vehicle began to spin clockwise before rolling twice, according to police.

The vehicle came to a final rest approximately 20 feet south of the roadway on its passenger’s side.

Milliron suffered serious injuries as a result of the crash and was transported from the scene by StatMedevac.

A juvenile female passenger was uninjured in the crash and was released from the scene.

Milliron’s vehicle sustained disabling damage and was towed from the scene by McPherson’s Auto and Towing.

PSP Marienville were assisted at the scene by Jefferson County EMS and Sigel VFD.

The investigation is ongoing.
