Snow-Covered Roadway Causes Crash on Route 36

Police car lightsELDRED TWP., Pa. (EYT) – According to Marienville-based State Police, a one-vehicle accident occurred yesterday evening on State Route 36, south of Ferguson, in Eldred Township, Jefferson County.

Police say around 5:42 p.m. 20-year-old Jessica M. Jameson, of Youngsville, was traveling north on Route 36. She lost control of her 2005 Chevrolet Trailblazer on the snow- and ice-covered roadway.

The vehicle traveled off the right side of the road and impacted an embankment, according to police.

Jameson was using a seat belt and was not injured.

Bailey’s Garage towed the vehicle from the scene.
