PERRY TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) – Punxsutawney-based State Police say around 4:56 p.m. on February 28, a two-vehicle accident occurred on Diamond Road, at its intersection with Frostburgh Road, in Perry Township, Jefferson County.
According to police, 34-year-old Amy S. Felgar, and 58-year-old Randy L. Howard, both of Punxsutawney, were involved in the collision.
Police say Felgar was traveling south on Diamond Road in a 2003 Dodge Durango, and Howard was traveling north in a 1999 Dodge Dakota.
Felgar lost control of her Durango on the snow/icy roadway and slid into the northern lane of travel while Howard was approaching a left bend in the roadway, according to police.
The Durango slid into the front end of the Dakota, police say.
No injuries were reported.
Felgar was not using a seat belt, and Howard was using a lap and shoulder belt.
The Durango was towed from the scene by Southside Towing.
