Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser for Local Man Battling Cancer Set for March 2

CORSICA, Pa. (EYT) – A spaghetti dinner fundraiser for a local man battling lung cancer is scheduled for March 2.

The fundraiser is for Corsica resident Pete Silvis who was diagnosed last month with stage 4 Non-Small Cell Squamous Lung Cancer.

Pete started chemotherapy this week. He will also be undergoing radiation treatment and a blood transfusion.

The dinner begins at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 2, at the Corsica Fire Hall.

It includes spaghetti and meatballs, a salad, a dessert, and drinks.

The cost is $8.00 for adults; $5.00 for children ages five to 10; and the meal is free for children age four and under.

Take-out will be available.

There will also be a Chinese auction at the event.

All proceeds will go directly to Pete to help pay his medical bills and other expenses.
