ST. MARYS, Pa. – St. Marys defeated Elk County Catholic, 4-1, in the opening round of the District 9 Boys’ Team Tennis Tournament Monday.
The Dutch will now travel to DuBois Central Catholic for a 2:30 p.m. semifinal match Wednesday.
The other quarterfinal match set for Monday – Clearfield at Brockway – was postponed to Tuesday because of wet courts. The winner of that match will travel to Punxsutawney for a 2:30 p.m. semifinal match Wednesday.
