State Police Calls: Harassment, DUI

JEFFERSON CO., Pa. (EYT) – Punxsutawney-based State Police responded to the following calls:

Harassment in Knox Township

Around 3:16 a.m. on August 30, Punxsutawney-based State Police were dispatched to a location on Pleasant Hill Road in Knox Township, Jefferson County, for a report of a domestic altercation.

Police say upon their arrival, a 30-year-old Brookville woman was arrested for simple assault, terroristic threats, and harassment, and was lodged in the Jefferson County Jail, and a 35-year-old Brookville man was cited with harassment.

The name of individuals charged were not released.

DUI in North Mahoning Township

Punxsutawney-based State Police responded to a vehicle fire involving a 2015 Dodge Dakota on Beaver Drive in North Mahoning Township, Indiana County, around 12:47 p.m. on September 3.

Police say during the investigation, the driver, identified as a 48-year-old Rochester Mills man, was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence.

Charges are pending.

The name of the driver was not released.
