State Police Calls: Theft, DUI

JEFFERSON CO., Pa. (EYT) – DuBois-based State Police responded to the following calls:

Theft in Winslow Township

A theft occurred sometime between 11:30 p.m. on December 7, and 6:00 a.m. on December 8, at the Goodwill Store, in Winslow Township.

Police say the suspect – a known, 45-year-old Reynoldsville woman – removed a black bag of donated items from beside the store’s drop off box and fled in an unknown direction.

Anyone who has witnessed this incident or has further information is asked to contact PSP DuBois at 814-371-4652.

DUI in DuBois

A DUI arrest was made around 1:58 a.m. on December 10, on West Long Avenue, in DuBois, Clearfield County.

Police say a known, 31-year-old DuBois man was stopped for driving without the vehicle’s headlights on.

While speaking with him, a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage was evident on his breath.

The suspect was subsequently arrested for DUI pending blood results, along with other summary traffic charges.
