State Police Calls: Criminal Mischief, Theft, DUI’s

Criminal Mischief in Henderson Township

Punxsutawney-based State Police say an incident of criminal mischief occurred sometime between 12:00 a.m. on January 27 and 3:00 a.m. on February 3 at a known residence located on Pike Road, in Henderson Township, Jefferson County.

A known, 61-year-old victim reported that a window and siding of her house were damaged due to rocks thrown sometime between the above described hours.

The incident is under investigation.

Theft in Ringgold Township

According to Punxsutawney-based State Police, a theft occurred around 11:50 a.m. on February 3 at a residence located on Route 536, in Ringgold Township Jefferson County.

Police say a theft occurred at the above described location.

No other details was released.

The victim is a 53-year-old Mayport woman.

DUI in Sandy Township

DuBois-based State Police say a DUI arrest was made early Monday morning on South Main Street, in Sandy Township, Clearfield County.

Around 12:46 a.m. on February 6, a known, 34-year-old DuBois man was stopped for several summary traffic violations.

While speaking with the driver, a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage was evident on his breath.

The known male was subsequently arrested for DUI and traffic charges are pending blood results.

The name of the suspect was not released.

DUI/Drug Paraphernalia in Sandy Township

A DUI arrest was made around 12:39 p.m. on February 3 on Home Camp Road/DuBois Rockton Road, in Sandy Township, Clearfield County, according to DuBois-based State Police.

Police say a known, 34-year-old Treasure Lake-DuBois man was driving a motor vehicle while under the influence of drugs.

During the investigation, the suspect was found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia.
