State Police Calls: Woman’s Vehicle Covered With Detergent

JEFFERSON/CLEARFIELD CO., Pa. (EYT) – Punxsutawney-based State Police responded to the following calls:

DUI Crash in Gaskill Township

Around 10:51 p.m. on June 19, Punxsutawney-based State police investigated a hit-and-run crash reported at the intersection of Clover Run Road and Filtering Plant Road in Gaskill Township.

Police say a known 31-year-old Punxsutawney man operating a 2009 Chevrolet Silverado ran a stop sign and traveled into the front yard of a camp, then ran over a tree, and got stuck in the yard.

According to police, the driver then fled the scene but was later located and arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence.

Charges are pending.

Criminal Mischief in Reynoldsville Borough

On June 16, a known 24-year-old female victim from Reynoldsville contacted DuBois-based State Police to report an incident of criminal mischief.

The incident allegedly occurred at a location on East Main Street in Reynoldsville Borough sometime between 7:30 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. on June 16.

The victim reported that unknown individual(s) had poured Ajax soap detergent all over her 2018 Chevrolet Cruze, then fled the scene.
