State Police Calls: Criminal Trespass, DUI, Drug Possession

JEFFERSON CO., Pa. (EYT) – Area state police responded to the following calls:

Criminal Trespass in Bell Township

Punxsutawney-based State Police say around 8:00 a.m. on July 21, an incident of simple trespass occurred at a location on Rikers Road in Bell Township.

Police say 27-year-old Mica Duff-Herrman, of Olympia, Washington, trespassed onto private property owned by the Buffalo & Pittsburgh Railroad.

Duff-Herrman was cited for simple trespass through District Court 54-3-01.

DUI in Brookville Borough

Around 9:49 p.m. on July 23, Punxsutawney-based State Police initiated a traffic stop on a 2006 Chevrolet Cobalt on Allegheny Boulevard in Brookville Borough for a summary traffic violation.

Police say the driver, a 32-year-old Brookville man, was then determined to be driving under the influence.

Charges are pending through District Court 54-3-03.

Drug Possession in Bloom Township

Around 6:15 p.m. on July 23, DuBois-based State Police initiated a traffic stop on a 2016 Chevrolet Sonic on Greenville Pike in Bloom Township, Clearfield County, for a traffic violation.

Police say the driver, identified as a 25-year-old Curwensville man, was found to be under the influence of drugs and alcohol and was subsequently arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence.

According to police, the driver, whose name was not released, was also found to be in possession of a small amount of marijuana.

Charges are pending.
