State Police Calls: Police Investigating Assault of 6-Year-Old Boy

JEFFERSON/INDIANA CO., Pa. (EYT) – DuBois-based State Police are investigating the following calls:

Harassment/Assault in Banks Township

Around 8:30 p.m. on September 12, Punxsutawney-based State Police resounded to a location on Brooks Road in Banks Township, Indiana County, to investigate a report of an assault.

Police say the assault reportedly involved a known 6-year-old male victim from Reynoldsville and the victim’s father.

The investigation is ongoing.

Theft by Deception/Identity Theft in Warsaw Township

On September 11, Punxsutawney-based State Police initiated an investigation into a report of identity theft.

The theft reportedly involved a known 64-year-old female victim from Brookville having her person information used to open a Chase Debit Visa account.

The investigation is ongoing.
