State Police Calls: Investigation Underway After 2-Year-Old Child Falls Down Stairs in Brady Township

CLEARFIELD CO., Pa. (EYT) – DuBois-based State Police responded to the following calls:

Investigation Underway After Two-Year-Old Child Falls Down Stairs in Brady Township

Police are investigating an incident involving an injured child that occurred around 10:00 a.m. on August 31 near Hartzfeld Road, in Brady Township, Clearfield County.

According to DuBois-based State Police, troopers were contacted by Clearfield County CYS in reference to an incident in which a two-year-old male child, of Luthersburg, fell down eight steps, causing injuries.

Police say the child was upstairs inside a loft in a barn when he fell.

The investigation is ongoing.

Drug Possession in Sandy Township

PSP DuBois conducted a traffic stop on a 2012 Hyundai Santa Fe at mile marker 97.4 on Interstate 80, in Sandy Township, Clearfield County, at 8:03 p.m. on Monday, September 5.

Police say the operator–a 39-year-old Templeton woman–was found to be in possession of paraphernalia and a small amount of marijuana.

Charges were filed through Magisterial District Judge David S. Meholick’s office.
