State Police Calls: Sexual Assault Investigated; DUI Traffic Stop

JEFFERSON CO., Pa. (EYT) — DuBois-based State Police recently investigated the following incidents:

Man Accused of Indecent Assault

State Police are investigating an alleged sexual assault that occurred between December 2010 and January 2011 at a Winslow Township residence.

The suspect is a known, 50-year-old man and the victim is a six-month-old girl.

Man Accused of DUI

A 33-year-old man was stopped at 4:34 p.m. Sunday on Interstate 80 in Washington Township after police saw traffic violations being committed.

Tpr. Anderson determined the man was driving his vehicle under the influence of a controlled substance. Drug paraphernalia was also seized.

Police said charges will be filed in District Judge David Inzana’s office.
