State Police Calls: Harassment, Criminal Mischief, Truck Accident

state_policeJEFFERSON COUNTY, Pa. (EYT) – DuBois-based State Police responded to the following incidents:

Brady Township Harassment

Police are investigating an incident that took place around 1:00 a.m. December 18.

According to police a known 42-year-old Punxsutawney man contacted a 14-year-old girl via Skype Chat and made threats towards her.

Police are continuing to investigate.

Snyder Township Criminal Mischief

Police say between 8:00 p.m. December 17, and 8:00 a.m. December 18, an unknown actor damaged a door knob at a residence on Paverick Lane in Snyder Township, Jefferson County.

Snyder Township Criminal Mischief

Police say between 12:30 a.m. and 7:40 a.m. December 18 an actor used a wooden bat to break a windshield on a 47-year-old Brockway man’s vehicle.

Brookville Two-vehicle Accident

Police say a 2012 International Harvester Truck and a 2012 Mack Truck were both travelling east on Interstate 80 near mile marker 79.2.

According to police, the driver of the International, 31-year-old Caleb E Poissant, of Clarks Summit, rear-ended the Mack driven by 59-year-old Richard Harris, of Pittsburgh.

Both units were able to pull off onto the berm of the roadway and no injuries were reported.

Brookville Volunteer Fire Department assisted at the scene.
