State Police Calls: CYS Investigation, Harassment

JEFFERSON CO., Pa. (EYT) – State police responded to the following calls:

CYS Investigation in Warsaw Township

On May 7, PSP DuBois received a Child Line report from Jefferson County Child and Youth Services (CYS) concerning an incident at a residence on Richardville Road, in Warsaw Township, Jefferson County

Both individuals were investigated by Jefferson County CYS.

At the conclusion of the investigation, it was unfounded that any child abuse had taken place at the time listed in the incident, sometime between 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on May 5.

Two Charged With Harassment in Brockway Borough

DuBois-based State Police arrested two individuals on harassment charges stemming from an incident that occurred around 7:00 p.m. on Friday, May 17.

According to police, in the commission of this crime, a 50-year-old Brockway man and a 38-year-old DuBois woman had a verbal altercation that turned physical.

Police say the man pushed the woman, and the woman then grabbed the man on the left bicep and pinched him, causing a small scratch on his inner bicep.

Charges were filed through District Court 54-3-01.
