State Police Calls: Terroristic Threats, Route 119 Crash

JEFFERSON CO., Pa. (EYT) – Punxsutawney-based State Police responded to the following calls:

Terroristic Threats

On December 30, 2019, state police responded to 177 Old Mill Road, in Summerville Borough, Jefferson County, for an altercation between three known individuals.

A known suspect pointed a firearm in the direction of two other individuals.

The investigation is ongoing.

Route 119 Crash

State police responded to a crash on State Route 119 in Bell Township, Jefferson County, on January 5, 2020, at 7:39 p.m.

Police say a 2010 Subaru Legacy driven by 19-year-old Laila Smith, of Emporium, was traveling south on State Route 119 when a deer entered the roadway from the west berm.

Smith struck the deer.

Police say the vehicle sustained disabling damage and was towed from the scene by Brosius Towing.
