State Police Calls: 7-Year-Old Boy Kicked During Domestic Dispute

Theft by Deception/Identity Theft Young Township

Punxsutawney-based State Police are investigating an incident of unemployment identity theft that occurred when an unknown actor filed for unemployment benefits in the name of a known 55-year-old female victim from Walston, Pa.

Police say $960.00 of funds on an unemployment card were stolen.

The investigation is ongoing.

Harassment in North Mahoning Township

Around 1:40 p.m. on November 25, Punxsutawney-based State Police responded to a residence on Smith Road in North Mahoning Township for a report of a domestic incident.

Police say it was later determined that a known 26-year-old Punxsutawney woman and a known 17-year-old female from Punxsutawney, who are sisters, engaged in a verbal and physical altercation.

According to police, during the altercation a known 7-year-old male juvenile from Punxsutawney was kicked by one of the suspects.

Police say both suspects will be cited for harassment.
